Hi, I’m Nick – the guy behind Backrow Vintage. I’m a rugby tragic through and through, having followed the game from the stands at the last three World Cups and made the pilgrimage to iconic events like the Hong Kong Sevens. What started as a way to make a bit of cash on the side (mainly to help fund the dream of making it to the 2027 World Cup final – even if it’s right up in the back row!) has grown into something I’m really passionate about: getting vintage rugby jerseys and classic kit into the hands of people who’ll treasure them like I do.

Every jersey has a story, and I like to think of them as more than just clothing – they’re momentos of games, players, and eras we don’t want to forget. After a huge weekend during the British & Irish Lions tour, where I got to see how much people love digging through racks of old kit, I knew I wanted to keep this page growing. Backrow Vintage is as much about the community as it is about the gear, and I’m keen to do more markets, link up with different people, and keep building a space where rugby fans can find something that feels personal.
